Startup tools list programs a new 501(c)(3) can apply for, with the limit that matters. The list is Google Workspace, Google Ad Grants, Microsoft 365, AWS credits, the PayPal confirmed-charity rate, TechSoup, Slack, Notion, and Atlassian. Each link goes to the provider.
- Google Ad Grants are $10,000 a month of in-kind search ads, not cash. A 5% click-through rate is required each month. Validation is through Goodstack.
- Microsoft’s donated licenses are for paid employees and unpaid executive staff. An all-volunteer organization uses the discounted licenses. The ten free Business Premium seats ended July 1, 2025.
- Slack excludes religious, political, and educational organizations. Atlassian’s community license excludes religious organizations. Those rows are hidden for a church or a school.
- A project without its own 501(c)(3) is outside Google for Nonprofits.
TechSoup’s GrantStation admin fee matches GrantStation’s own price. Going through TechSoup is not a discount on that product.
