International staff papers

Season-scoped sponsor dates, the unvalidated police certificate note, and the earlier DS-2019 or visa date.

International staff papers on a staff profile records dates from sponsor paperwork for the current camp season. This season picks which season row applies.

22 CFR 62.30(c)(1) requires the sponsor to conduct a sponsor interview; 22 CFR 62.30(c)(2) requires the sponsor to obtain an employer or teacher reference. VolunteerBadge only stores the dates you enter for those steps.

A police certificate is an unvalidated third-party document. Some sponsors ask for a certificate issued within twelve months; 22 CFR 62.30 does not name that document. VolunteerBadge has not validated it.

When both a DS-2019 end date and a visa expiration are filled in, the profile shows the earlier date as "Earlier date entered."

Work-authorization review is a date your camp chooses to revisit. The screen does not state work-authorization law or whether someone may work.
