Better Impact (Volunteer Impact) is the most widely used dedicated volunteer-management platform. This connector pulls volunteers in for screening.
Inbound only
Better Impact's API is read-only, so this connection imports volunteers into VolunteerBadge but doesn't write back. Everything else (checks, auto-rescreen) works normally on the imported volunteers.
1. Generate an API key
- In Better Impact, go to Configuration → Organization Settings → Security Settings.
- Generate an API key and note your API username.
2. Connect in VolunteerBadge
Go to Settings → Integrations → Better Impact → Connect, enter your API username and key, and Test & connect. Birthdays, email, phone, and address all come across.
