Trips

Adult-to-child ratios, driver insurance limits, and permission slips that need a new signature if the date changes.

A trip lists how many children are going and how many children you allow per adult. If too few adults are assigned, the page says the trip is short before anyone leaves.

A driver record stores the years without a violation and the insurance limits as numbers. When those numbers are 25/50/25, the page labels them state minimum. That label is the numbers you entered. It is not a coverage opinion. The volunteer's own auto policy is primary. A permission slip does not move liability. Saving a new departure date asks you to confirm, then marks every slip as needing a new signature.

No sourced child-restraint note is on file. The page does not guess one.

A co-op can set how many children go with one adult for each age band, on a day trip and on an overnight trip. Those numbers are the co-op's choice. They are not a determination that a law requires them. Saving them changes the next trip. A trip already saved keeps the number it was given.

A co-op can choose that new trips ask for one woman and one man when ages 16 and 17 are going. That choice is not a determination that a law requires it. A single trip can turn it off. The page says the trip is short on that count only when the choice is on, older teens are going, and a woman or a man is missing.

A driver record can include the license expiration date. The license number is not stored. The date is not a coverage opinion.
