The Sign-In Table is the VolunteerBadge podcast. Our co-founder, Matt Angerer, talks with the leaders of camps, churches, homeschool co-ops and community nonprofits about their mission, why they started, the impact they are making and how others can help. It is informal and audio-first, with a new episode every other Friday (Episode 1 drops Friday, September 25, 2026) at volunteerbadge.com/podcast and on the VolunteerBadge YouTube channel. The show also has its own home at thesignintable.com.
How guests are invited. We email the owner or admin of organizations that use VolunteerBadge, often those featured in our monthly Impact Report. The email links to a short guest survey. You can also put your organization forward yourself at volunteerbadge.com/podcast/guest. Being a guest is free, and it has nothing to do with your account, your plan or your volunteers’ records.
The guest survey. It takes about ten minutes: your mission, how you started, a story that shows your impact, how listeners can help and a few times that suit you. Your answers go to our team at support@screenforgelabs.com and are used only to plan and publish your episode. You get a confirmation email, and we reply with times and a recording link.
On recording day.
- Plan on about 45 minutes.
- Join from a laptop with Chrome through the link we send. There is nothing to install.
- Use any earbuds or headphones with a mic, in a quiet room.
- Video is optional. We record audio for the show and only use video if you are happy on camera.
Permission and publishing. The survey asks for your permission to record and publish, and we confirm it again at the start of the recording. After editing, we publish the episode with a written summary and links to your organization, then send you the link and clips to share. If anything comes up after recording, email support@screenforgelabs.com and we will talk it through.
Your photo. If you send us a headshot, we show it on your episode card at thesignintable.com, volunteerbadge.com/podcast and your Impact Story, and in the graphics we share to promote your episode. No photo? Your card simply shows your name.
