Staff cards live on the person, one row per card. A Red Cross lifeguard card lasts two years from the issue date. An Ellis or StarGuard card lasts one year. Wilderness First Responder also ends if that person's CPR ends first.
An issuer VolunteerBadge does not know, and a food-handler card from California, Washington, or Maricopa County, asks for the date printed on the card. The product does not guess that date.
A card that expires during the session shows as expiring from the first day of that session, on This season. A card that expires before the session starts is a gap. Email goes out when a card crosses 90 days, 30 days, and 7 days, and once when it expires. The note does not say the person may not work.
