On a staff profile, Camp tools can show a short sourced note tied to the person's address state or an optional organization overlay. Four notes are on file today: California and Massachusetts when the person is under 18, Pennsylvania when the person is 14 through 17, and Texas when the overlay is set to TX.
Each note prints the locked sentence from research and a citation link. The product does not add legal conclusions beyond that text.
When no note matches, the screen shows: No sourced note is on file for this state. VolunteerBadge is not stating the law.
Under Settings → Organization → Camp state note, pick No state note or a state. Texas youth-camp rules use the overlay. Choosing No state note clears the overlay so the Texas note no longer appears. Turning Camp tools off hides the whole camp section, including state notes.
