Show Your Impact is a free story page for your nonprofit in our public gallery at volunteerbadge.com/impact. It highlights the good work you do and the community you serve — and every published story links back to your website.
We write the first draft for you
You don't start from a blank page. For active customers, we build a draft automatically from your organization's own public website (the website on file in Settings → Organization), writing a short, warm summary in our own words — never copying your text, and never inventing facts or statistics. We also pull your homepage image where one is available. We respect robots.txt, so if your site asks crawlers not to visit, we simply skip it.

How it works
- We draft your page and reach out by email with a preview link.
- You reply with any changes you'd like, and tell us if you'd like it published.
- Once you approve, we publish it — and it appears in the gallery with a link back to your site.
Want it updated or taken down later? Just reply to that email or contact support anytime.
Richer stories when you share more
If you give us real material, such as numbers, a quote, photos, or an episode of our podcast, The Sign-In Table, your page can show it: a band of key figures, a pull quote, a photo gallery, the episode itself, the ways people can help, and buttons to donate or volunteer. We use only the figures and quotes you gave us and only the photos you approve, and we check the updated page with you before it goes live.
What else is on the page
Every Impact Story page links to more of VolunteerBadge, in columns beside the story on a computer and below it on a phone or tablet: ways to get started, Sign-In Table episodes, more Impact Stories, new blog posts and screening resources. If your organization is a podcast guest, your page also shows your episode number and your photo, and the episode plays right on the page from noon Eastern on its drop date. If your page has a pull quote from you, your photo appears beside it too.
