Camp tools

This season

Name the summer, add sessions, and see who is not ready. Copying last summer does not copy clearance.

This season is the camp home screen. It appears when Camp tools are on. A session is a dated block of camp: a start, an end, day or overnight, and how many campers you expect.

Start this summer creates the season and the first session. Add a session is for the rest of the calendar, including a retreat or staff training week.

Copy last summer

Copy moves the dates forward one year and copies who was assigned to each session. It does not copy cards or background checks. Clearance starts over, which is the point of planning the next summer in the fall.

The list on this page names who is ready for the selected session, whose card expires before the session ends, and what is still missing. Red does not change anyone's status. The time stamp is Eastern time. Refresh reloads the list.

Supervised only replaces Ready when the staff member is under 18 on the first day of the session. A missing date of birth is a gap. When this organization requires it, a missing parent or guardian signature is a gap. The existing authorization email is the one that collects that signature.

A future partner can be sent only three words: cleared, expiring, or not cleared, plus a date. Someone under 18 is not sent as cleared. No partner is connected in this version.
